Vintage Wooden Tray

This wooden tray is so pretty with a beautifully carved rim (handy for catching anything that could slip and slide) and handles for easy carrying. The grain of the wood is lovely and while it does show signs of age and use, it's full of character and the only major blemish is that one of the decorative peaks near the handle on one side has chipped off (please see image) - a detail we only noticed when we polished the tray up. With the holidays just around the corner, this tray makes me think of sleep-ins, of coffee and rusks served in bed, and slow mornings with a good book.
