Vintage Wicker Basket

I do love a pretty wicker basket, and with their natural and earthy tones, they're seamless add-ons to all spaces in the home. The basket on sale today came sans the closures, so we've re-purposed a couple for the purpose. That said, you need not use them - they can stay on (but not closed) for effect, or be removed entirely. The box is a generous size, so useful for all sorts, and despite its years, it is in really great shape. We gave the wicker a good clean before reviving it with some oil, but some signs of wear on the wicker have remained (please see images). I suspect that these are simply from age and don't detract from a lovely piece of vintage storage-ware.
