Vintage Trinket Boxes (Each)
There's something really special about these glamorous egg-shaped trinket boxes, probably made famous by Fabergé. Of the 50 eggs he made, just over 40 remain in circulation, but replicas abound with some variation in shape, and size... and a wonderful range of patterns and colours. This pair are on the big size, as trinket boxes go, and each come with three little gold-painted feet, and floral clasp. The clasps on both are nice and tight, but do note that the hinge allows for the tops to open all the way. I love the paint-work on both and would be hard-pressed to choose one over the other. They make wonderful gifts, super decorative items, and of course, the perfect place to store rings and other speacial treasures.
