Vintage Vanity Mirror Tray

As far as I know, such mirrored trays were intended for ones dressing table - a lovely spot to keep your perfume, some make-up and other treasures. They do make for beautiful and useful decorative pieces and really, they can be repurposed for bathrooms, coffee tables and even your desk as it turns out (see this link for some inspiration!). I'm not certain on the vintage of the tray - I suspect it's a more recent piece, but the copper handles are slightly tarnished (despite a good polish), and there's some minor wear to the shiny band that encases the mirror. The mirror is decorated with delicate lined pattern, which I absolutely love, and it's in wonderful condition with only a few scratches to the surface. These are barely visible, and the good condition of the glass also suggests that it's more contemporary, or perhaps that it wasn't a dresser staple.
