Vintage Glass SAA Ashtray

In trying to date this piece I discovered that an impressive array of SAA branded ashtrays are in circulation! This blue version is one of the more "out-there" ones around, and pretty cool too. The slogan is depicted in English and Afrikaans along with their handsome springbok emblem. Current news of the ailing airline aside, I think the ashtray is a fantastic collector's piece and certainly makes for a quirky and unusual gift. Overall, the ashtray is in good condition - the glass is damage free but the blue paintwork on the base is scuffed in places.
