Vintage Ceramic Vase

When I picked this vase up I was sure I'd find the Lucia Ware mark on the base - it's got all the classic features from that unusual and beautiful shape, to the grand burgundy glaze. While there's no "Lucia Ware" on the base, I'm fairly certain that it's one of their wares, or at least a manufacture of Boksburg East Potteries or Drostdy Ware. Both companies produced whimsical and unusual ceramic pieces, much like the vase on sale today. The base does carry a numerical identifier - 31/161 as far as I can tell, but this wasn't helpful in a Google search. If anyone out there has more information, please do share!
