Stovetop Enamel Kettle

I’m not sure if there’s such a thing as “very retro” but if there is, this super stovetop kettle cum teapot is in that category! The bright blue enamel is complimented with a sweet ring of flowers around the base of the pot – the effect is really fun and cheerful. The pot is in very good condition for its years with the only real blemish being a nick off the blue enamel at the end of the spout, but given the intense blue of the pot, this isn’t very noticeable at all. The base remains in great condition and certainly feels solid enough to withstand many more years on a stovetop. The only oddity is the plastic handle which seems to come quite close to the base of the pot – this means that the only restriction would be to keep your pot on the smallest hob to save the handle from the heat (the handle is in mint condition so perhaps this isn’t an issue at all?). All this considered you might just choose to keep the pot as a display piece because it is 100% fab and a really special piece of retro enamelware.
