Small Art Glass Dishes
No doubt these pretty trinket dishes were made by the same enterprise, but there's no real clue as to where they come from. The red and white dish carries the remnants of the maker's sticker but it's really worn and sadly, one can't get any information from this. I do think the pieces must be mid-century in vintage given their beautiful clean lines and the subtle design in shape and colour of each bowl. I really love the silhouette of each as they both balance on a relatively petite foot - the effect is decidedly glam. While they're certainly ash-tray size, I don't think that's their intended purpose - I imagine that they were designed for display (and they do this so well - they're gorgeous!), or a pretty spot to store your watch or ear-rings before bed.
