Shabby Chic Storage Bench

This sweet bench is a little different from most of the items we sell here at The Good Home and in fact, it was a little worse for wear when we bought it. But, we do like a challenge and we certainly couldn’t overlook the fine structure of this pine storage bench. We’ve sanded and varnished the bones, lined the storage compartment and replaced the cushion and fabric on the seat and back-rest… and there you have it - a super functional, super good-looking piece of furniture is looking for a Good Home. Please note that while the bench is really sturdy it still carries some signs of wear and tear, but then again it's not called shabby chic for nothing! My sense is that the bench is most ideal for an entrance hall, veranda or balcony, but of course, some extra storage space is handy just about anywhere!
