Scalloped Ceramic Shelf

Our lovely little ceramic shelf, designed to look like a half shell, makes for a really pretty storage spot. I guess because it's ceramic (and shell shaped!), it lends itself well to a bathroom or outdoor area, and while I wouldn't pile a load of books upon it, I think it'd serve beautifully for some candles or a couple of small plants. If it were mine to keep, I'd set up right next my bath with a soap dish, a candle and a spot for a glass of vino! There's a fair bit of crazing to the surface of the shelf (please see images), but the look suits the piece so well that I wonder if the finish was deliberate?
The shelf is wall-mounted and will need two screws for this purpose.
