Retro Snack Platter

This sweet retro snack platter has no identifying marks on it but the delightful orange, brown and yellow design, not to mention the wicker holder give me a 70s vibe. I really love that the floral print has been somewhat hap-hazardly coloured in – it really makes for a quirky and fun image. The print has come off in some parts (see images) from wash and wear, but aside from that, both the wicker base and ceramic are in very good condition. I think the platter is well-suited to cheese, figs, olives and some crackers, and I’d probably use the server without the wicker base but that’s a matter of personal preference; and with gorgeous summer weather up ahead, this little gem is likely to be put to good use by the pool or braai.
