Retro Side Table (R370)

This amazing little table was coated with a fair amount of stain and sealant when we found it. So when we sanded it up, we were thrilled to find that it's been made with some truly beautiful wood - this of course is not entirely surprising as the table has some weight to it, but these moments are always so exciting none the less! The table has been very well made and has some lovely subtle design quirks such as a neat rim carved into the wood around the table top, and probably my favourite part - the tapered legs. I imagine that this piece was designed as a side table - it would of course be great for this purpose, but I can't help think that it may also serve as a sweet little coffee table in a small space, or even as a one-of-a-kind bed side-table.
