Retro Rocket Floor Lamp

It was easy to fall in love with this magnificent 1960s retro rocket lamp. The base is made from brass and wood (possibly teak), and when we found the lamp - the shade was all but in a heap! We went all-out with the shade and had it re-made to size using a wax print, which looks excellent set against the wood and brass. The origin of the lamp is a mystery, but the wooden frame carries some excellent craftsmanship in the delicate ribbed detail. The lamp is as sturdy as it is handsome, and with new wiring, it's bound to brighten your day..
