Retro Frystark Desk

I think a great desk is one of those essential items in the home (and possibly now so more than ever!). I think just about everyone needs one, so it may as well be a handsome spot to perch yourself for some remote work, journalling or getting your admin sorted. This South African made Frystark desk is an excellent piece of furniture - I love the wonderful wooden handles on each drawer, the handy pull-out surface and the great legs on both the right and left hand sides of the table. The Frystark company was a hybrid of the Frye brothers (from Port Elizabeth) and Starke furniture company (Cape Town) who joined forces in the 1960s. The company was taken over and renamed in the 1970s, so our sweet desk is around 60 years old.
