1970s Atomic Design Chrome and Glass Side Tables (Each)

I think that these side tables were widely manufactured in South Africa, and were no doubt relatively easy to come by. These days, they've entered the vintage and retro stakes, and are decidedly less common. They're a pretty cool design, made from a chrome frame connected with wood balls at each corner, and finished with glass tops that are perfectly shaped to accommodate the corners. On this set, we had to replace the missing glass, added small clear adhesive buttons to buffer the glass on the chrome frame, and adhesive felt on each foot. The wooden balls show their age, but they're pretty quirky with their battle scars, and I quite like the shine they carry which is true to form for the inspiration of this design.
