Poole "Desert Song" Plates (Set of 5)

I'm absolutely intrigued by these plates - when we bought them I assumed that they were side plates or dessert/tea plates - and they may well be - but I can't find any reference to this specific design or shape of plate on Google. From the colour, I'm pretty certain that they're part of the "Desert Song" range, but given the lack of info on these, I think that they must be pretty rare to come by. They are certainly unusual, and absolutely fun, and I think they make for an excellent addition to any table - be it at the start, middle or end of the meal. As "side plates" go, they're quite generous, so they could double up equally well as snack servers or tapas plates. This is totally my kind of multi-functional and beautiful kitchenware!
