Retro Pendant Light

This is one cool light fitting! The black and red are a super combination and each of the striped glass shades are in tip-top condition. The attention to detail in the lamp is remarkable with the shades finished in the most lovely shape and the central piece linking each half of the lamp, beautifully decorated with a brass decal. We gave the brass parts a good shine but they do still carry some tarnish, and sadly we had to replace the original ceiling rose which was badly cracked. There's also a small crack in the central plastic holder (please see images) between the two shades but this has no structural implications and of course, isn't likely to be seen when your lamp is mounted. The same goes for the top of this piece which seems to be losing the cream finish (please see image) but as this section is ceiling facing, it won't be visible at all. All in, I think this is one grand mid-century light fitting and perfect for any space!
