Retro Occasional Chair

This chair is beautiful and so comfy! The backrest is pretty solid and provides excellent support, and we've restored the wood frame and recovered the seat and backrest in a deep blue velvety fabric. We're super chuffed with the outcome and my only complaint is that we have just one of these in this handsome dark wood! I think the chair isn't all that old in years and most likely post-dates the mid-century period, but it carries some lovely clean curves with a fuss-free shape. Please do note that the chair base is a little lower than most other occasional chairs I've come across - it doesn't worry me but perhaps worth mentioning!
