Novelty Football Ashtray

There's just about no information to be found about this fun little football shaped ashtray. What I do know is that it would have been made between 1944 and 1968, based on the maker's stamp (Lancaster & Sandland Ltd.), and to boot, it also carries the ridges representing old school leather panels that the balls were made from.
