Mikasa Side/Tea Plates (Set of 6)

Japanese tableware is world renowned and the Mikasa brand is right at the forefront - not only for their beautiful, timeless design, but also the premium quality of their wares. I'm a bit of a fan (in case you haven't noticed?!), so I was thrilled to bits to get hold of these magical plates which came with the coffee mugs, also on sale today. The plates don't look to have been used at all, and are in mint condition. The pattern by Ben Seibel is Japanese in inspiration (I adore those gemoetric petals!), and the flower image plus brown rim, set against a white background is striking, simple and oh so pretty! For that little bit extra, the plates have a great shape to them with a higher and more angled rim than what one typically sees around. I think that these plates are intended as tea plates, but they're a good size and would absolutely be suitable for serving as side plates.
