Mid-Winter Cake Server

I was 100% won over by the joyful and colourful print used on this Midwinter Stylecraft Cake server, and if that wasn't enough the two tiers are joined by an attractive and still shiny stainless steel handle (finished off so beautifully with a simple and neat hand-hold). There's some minor crazing to the plates but given the fact that they date to the 1950s, this isn't surprising and in fact, the server is in wonderful condition. The pattern is officially named "Lorna Doone" - who I've just learnt was a fictional character in a historical romance, penned way back in 1869. Well, now you know (and so do I!).
