Mid-Century "Jasba" Art Pottery Bowls (Each)
The "Jasba" pottery company dates all the way back to the 1920s and until the 1970s, they produced a distinctive range of grand art pottery wares. They're best known for their vases in bright colours and interesting shapes, as well as some fat lava, but I think the little bowls we have on sale today are a treat. The boat-shaped bowl is gorgeous in form, and has been beautifully decorated in a handsome, textured glaze in blues, yellows and browns. It was tricky to capture with my camera, but the small oval bowl is a deep dark blue colour, and it too has been finished with a handsome marbled design, this time on the base, and a flash gold rim. Both are super unique and excellent additions to your collection of West German ceramic-ware.
Dimensions
Boat-shaped bowl is 12cm long x 6.5cm wide x 7.5cm tall; the oval-round bowl is 11cm long x 9.8cm wide x 4.8cm tall.
