Melitta Coffee Pot, Milk Jug & Sugar Bowl (Set)

We have Melitta Bentz, a German housewife, to thank for the paper coffee filter and drip coffee systems. While this was way back in 1908 and coffee has come a long way since then, the Melitta Coffee company is still going strong. That said, they certainly don't make wonderful coffee sets like this one any longer which is rather a shame as they are too cool for school! Our beautiful retro coffee set in a super green and grey print comes complete with a pot, milk jug, sugar bowl, 6 cups and saucers - and to finish off the set beautifully, a set of 6 tea plates (the items can be purchased separately). The coffee pot, milk jug and sugar bowl are in wonderful condition without any damage to the ceramic, although I suspect that the sugar bowl had a lid which was missing when we bought the set. Also, the pot has a couple of minor scuffs to the print (please see image).
