Vintage Tins

I haven't been able to uncover much at all about these vintage storage tins decorated with a pretty scene of windmills and sailboats. The series of windmills in the image makes me think that they may be Dutch in origin, and in fact they remind me of a fabulous visit to Kinderdijk in The Netherlands. The tins are pretty old (one is stamped 95c underneath - so that dates them at least to time when you could actually buy something for 95 cents!) and have lost some paintwork to the lids but otherwise, they're in decent condition and really very pretty. Together, they'd make a good-looking set of kitchen storage. On sale, we have two sizes - large and small, although there isn't much in it and the smaller size is only just a little shorter and narrow than the large version.
