Teak Queen Headboard With Attached Pedestals

As I've said before, we truly love all the items we sell here at The Good Home, but we become very attached to some of them - like this handsome teak headboard. It was in pretty good condition when we purchased it but we opted to do some gentle restoration with a light sanding and varnish, and fastened one of the loose pedestal legs. The only blemish is a very small nick on the edge of one sidetable (please see image) which isn't very obvious at all and certainly doesn't detract from this fabulous piece of timber. We're delighted with the finished product and along with a good looking set of wishbone legs, neatly curved edges at the pedestals and top of the headboard, and classic drawer handles, this piece will add a bunch of mid-century magic to any bedroom.
