Lucia Ware "The Shrimp" Boat

This is one of those Lucia Ware pieces that might only be found in the home of an avid collector, but I have a real soft spot for "The Shrimp". The home of Lucia Ware, Boksburg East Potteries, clearly had some imagination and panache, creating an impressive catalog of ceramic wares in different shapes, colours and for different purposes. I'm not sure if The Shrimp vase intended as a bud vase of sorts, but I quite fancy it as an olive or nut dish, or a desk caddy. Come to think of it, it's a suitable size for all sorts and certainly a little different from the normal vessel one sees.
