Large Grünstadt Keramik Platter

There's little to learn about the maker of this stunning platter, Grünstadt Keramik. Aside from the fact that they were German potters, and that they closed their doors in the 1980s I can't tell you much more than this. What I can say is that the platter is exquisite with a bright and bold colour palette of orange and turquoise. It really is a sight for sore eyes. It seems that the platter might have had an attachment for wall-hanging (please see images), but if so, this has been removed. The plate is a generous size and a beautiful way to serve up all sorts from a chocolate cake to some charcuterie and cheese. It's definitely one of the finest platters I've come across and in beautiful nick!
