J Blokland Simplex Game

This amazing vintage board game was made in the The Netherlands by J. Blokland Simplex Toys. The set is in tip-top condition and amazingly, is intact too (I find it just about impossible to get my offspring to pack up a 4-piece puzzle!). The game is made up of 4 wooden boards and 80 small pictorial wooden tiles - and minus any printed rule book - the point is really to make up your own game! Each of the boards come with a sequence of open spots to add the tiles as you choose - to tell a story, play picture bingo, or choose like and matching images. There are really so many possibilities! The images are varied and easy for little people to decipher, and as the game offers free thinking and play, it's suitable for approximately 3-7 year olds (that's my estimate). The pieces and boards come in a beautiful wooden box with slide out lid, and the boards and images have remained bright and like new.
