"Wales China" Japanese Pedestal Mugs (Pair)

I've had this pair of pedestal mugs in stock for some time now and was hoping to match them with an identical or complementary pair, as this variety came in some really cool retro designs. Sadly, I've not seen anything like these of late! I love them to bits and think they might just be the prettiest mugs I've seen, but as my husband reminds me, I can't keep everything I buy for The Good Home! The mugs are Japanese manufactured, and were sold under the "Wales" brand, an American outfit that imported Japanese stoneware to the USA in the 1960s and 70s. The pair are a lovely size, great for coffee or tea, and are in mint condition.
