JAJ Pyrex Dishes (Each)
In 1921, JAJ successfully obtained a 50-year patent right to produce Pyrex. They manufactured a host of wonderful Pyrex designs until 1973 when the license expired and Corning took ownership, rendering the use of the "Pyrex" name exclusive. This joyful floral print, called Briarwood, was released in the early 1970s and was one of their last designs in the Pyrex range. The super retro print which appears on each side of the dishes have remained intact and the colour beautiful, although there is some fading on the images of the larger rectangular dish. Nonetheless, both dishes are in great condition (no chips, crazing or discolouration) and a lovely addition to your serveware.
Dimensions
The oval dish measures 28cm long (handle to handle) x 19cm wide x 7cm deep; the rectangular dish measures 32cm long from handle to handle x 22.8cm wide x 5.8cm deep.
