Hand-painted Italian Fruit Bowl

I have a real soft spot for vintage hand-painted ceramics from Italy - they have such a distinct style and charm to them. The most lovely feature on this piece is the pretty village scene painted on the inside of the bowl. That said, there's nothing dull about the unusual boat-shape of the bowl, finished with a handsome green trim and a fresh white glaze.
