Italian Egizia Milk Bottles (Pair)

There isn't much information around on these great vintage Italian milk and juice bottles but they're a collector's dream with their range of colourful and rather cute designs. I've seen images of some pretty spectacular collections online! Collecting aside, the bottles did once have lids and were presumably used to collect one's milk from the local store. That said, they also had a juice range - so I may be way off on my guess work! The bottles date to between the 1960s and 1970s and the pair on sale today are both in lovely condition. One features a very happy cow, complete with long eyelashes and bell; and the other a bustling farmyard scene populated with people, animals, flowers and some pretty blooms. The bottles obviously make for pretty decorative pieces but they would also be ideal for serving water or juice, and equally, I think they'd make great vases for a couple of blooms.
