Italian Ceramic Wall Hanging

While my love of most things Italian stands strong and may well be genetic, I’m pretty sure that this charming piece of art would appeal to most of us. The piece was definitely intended for a wall as the hanger is built in to the back of the ceramic. The back is also stamped “087 Italy” – the only clue to its history. I’ve come across one other piece online, similarly stamped and also an attractive representation of vases (selling here for $125!). My guess is that their origin is the same as the both works share some similarity in style and feel, but I can’t be certain. Regardless, the ceramic is beautiful, vibrant and damage free and would make an unusual and charming addition to a kitchen or entryway.
