Dining Set

This beautiful dining table was set up with 6 chairs when we bought it, and while this clearly worked for the previous owners, I do think that 4 works better given the shape of the support structure and the size of the table (but handy to know you can add a couple of chairs if need be!). The table is beautiful and with a very gentle sanding by hand, it's got many more years in it. We paired the table with 4 great mid-century chairs - these needed a little bit of tightening and a refresh and although some signs of wear remain (please see images), they are looking much improved. The fabric of the seats was in like-new condition but strangely, the fabric on two of the four had been pulled too tightly and looked a little off. So, we opted to freshly re-upholster these in a fab grey-yellow-cream textured fabric that compliments the others beautifully. All in, the dining set looks and feels great.
 
The chairs can be purchased separately from the table and viewing is possible in Johannesburg by appointment.
