9-Piece Dessert Set

I've seen these lovable apple shaped ice glass bowls around, but never a decent set, so I was pretty chuffed with this lot. All the bowls are in great condition and come summer, this is likely to be a much treasured and useful set of glassware. I think that the original versions were Italian made, and since then copies have been in circulation. The set on sale today is probably a local manufacture, barring two of the small bowls which are in fact made in Italy (they have "Italy" embossed on the underside of the stem). There isn't much in it - they are so similar to the other 6 that I didn't notice the odd ones out until I was back home and cleaning the set. I've included an image of the Italian version and the unmarked one so you can see what I mean!
