Contemporary Nova Rico World Globe

I love a good map and I always wanted one of these as a kid! While I was stuck with my 2-D school atlas and coped just fine :-) , I do think that these 3-D globes are fabulous for kids (and adults!). It's such a great way to get perspective of where the continents lie relative to one another, and of course they provide a fun way to learn about the countries of the world. The globe is contemporary and in fact, I'm amazed that it appears to be brand new with little or no use to it. The globe is Italian made, by the well-known Nova Rico, a company that has been manufacturing these in various forms since 1950. This one is a light globe which I think is pretty darn great too! The new versions of these are in excess of $120 so I think this one is a steal!
