Churchill Coffee/Tea Mugs (Set of 8)

Churchill have quite an eclectic and colourful range of designs, patterns and shapes in their wares. As for this set, it’s super charming and the colour combination and pattern are pretty cheerful – I’d say bound to improve one’s mood on an early winter morning. The set is in great condition and includes 7 cups and saucers in mint condition. One additional cup has a surface crack on the inside (please see image), but it is water-tight and will be included in the set (although the pricing will accommodate the blemish!) because spares are always handy when there are extra folks around (and the 8th saucer is perfect). The cups are generously proportioned and ideal for tea or coffee. As it is known today, Churchill was so-named in the early 80s (my guess is that this pattern dates to around that time), but the company has a long history originating in the late 1700s, and amazingy, they have one pattern, "Blue Willow", that has been in production since 1818! Isn't that something?!
