Vintage Lamp

The print on this rather large lamp base is really so lovely with wonderful vibrant colours and as the prints are raised, they have real texture to them. We rewired the lamp and gave the base a good clean - but some of the stains have remained (one in particular - please see image) and in the end we opted to not to scrub too hard, with preserving the ceramic and paintwork in mind. And finally, we added a new yellow lamp shade because we could all do with a good dose of sunshine!
 
Please take note of the measurements - the lamp looks smaller than it is! It is probably best suited for a large desk or a sideboard. It isn't a bedside table sized lamp!
