Gmundner Keramik Bowl

The mid-century pattern on these Austrian pieces was called "Dizzy Green" which in some ways is fitting (it's green & white!), but on the other hand I find the pattern and colour really quite mesmerising and calming. The bowl is quite petite and if it were mine to keep, I'd absolutely purpose it for jewellery or other small items. It's a truly beautiful piece of mid-century design and quite unusual, not to mention it's the first of this make I've come across in South Africa. The bowl and lid are in excellent condition and with lid replacements going at Euro29 our little bowl is a sweet deal!
