Vintage Brass Planters (R200 each)

Both of these planters carry the same stamp: "Solid Brass Cape Town", while only the larger has the maker's mark: "Hand Made Lustre Ware", but they clearly come from the same manufacturer. The larger planter is somewhat simpler with two decorative "rims" near the base. In addition to the same two rims, the smaller planter is decked with handles in the ferocious jaws of lions on each side. I think they are both gorgeous and make a great pair as they aren't exactly alike. I have searched for information about the maker without much luck so sadly, it seems that they no longer operate but on the plus side, we do have these great pieces to enjoy! The planters are in good nick, but each one carries a characterful dent, consistent with age, at the very base (see images).
