Brass Cigar Box

While I think this great little box was intended for cigars (or cigarettes), it's also ideal for two decks of playing cards. But, if it were mine to keep I'd repurpose it for jewellery or storing some of my knitting paraphernalia (stitch markers and the like). The middle divider slips out easily too, so the box is ample as a desk-top accompaniment for pens and stationary. It's really handsome with a space for engraving one's name, and a cool lined design imprinted in the brass of the lid. The base is quite scratched and the inside a little tired, but the box is intact and still serves its purpose perfectly.
