BMF Nagel Bottle Opener

This little delight is silver plated as far as I can gauge and despite a little tarnish, it shone up beautifully. It's a dual variety bottle opener with the classic pop-up lever as well as a screw off opener... one doesn't see so many of the latter all that often! The piece was beautifully made and I'm wildly impressed with the detail on our little bird. It's super textured and very pretty! West German BMF Nagel are best known for their incredible modular candle holders, but who knew that they also manufactured the likes of our little bird?! Not me, but I guessed that this was something special the minute I spotted it!
