Vintage Blue Art Glass Bud Vases (Pair)

I'm quite certain that these are pieces by the Swedish glass manufacturer, Aseda Glasbruk - it certainly looks to be the case, and the company made an extraordinary range of stunning unsigned glassware. The design dates to the 1960s with the form known as "jack-in-the-pulpit" - of a rim pulled down at the front and up on the other side - a shape that mimics the flower of the same name. With clear glass bases decorated with controlled bubbles (or bullicante), an intense shade of blue in the stem and part clear glass rims, the vases are beauties. Both are in excellent condition and we're selling these as a pair.
