Beswick Platter/Serving Dish

Our pretty dish from the English pottery house, Beswick, was tricky to date as I've seen the matching backstamp dated from the 1930s to 1960s. At any rate, it's a real vintage gem and in wonderful condition. I was completely won over by the bright colours of the dish with the beautiful green of the leaf and orange of the flower motif as vibrant as ever. Of course, the dish is perfect for snacks and canapes, but I couldn't bear to reserve this one for special occasions and I'd keep it right on my countertop filled with fruit!
