Art Potteries Fruit Bowl (R230)

I love everything about the ceramic bowl we have on sale today – the warm orange colour and glaze are gorgeous, the shape is clean and simple, and the size is generous without being massive. Of course, the bowl would serve well for many purposes, but I really think it makes a perfect fruit bowl. Underneath, the piece is stamped “art potteries” – any pieces I’ve come across by the company have a decidedly retro feel to them and my guess is that the bowl dates to the 70s/80s. I’ve tried to find more information about the company but nothing turns up so my guess is that they are sadly no longer in operation. Thankfully, their beautiful pieces are fabulously robust and equally timeless!
