Art Glass Bud Vase and Pitcher

The glass pieces for sale today are both so pretty in form and colour! Just look at those fabulous shades of purple and pink - add some sunshine and one could gaze at them all day! As bud vases go the purple glass is one of the bigger versions I've seen. It's generously proportioned which I love, and the shades of colour vary slightly as the piece tapers near its base. Of course, a single bud would do, but there's certainly enough room for a couple more if needs be. The smaller pink pitcher is also rather unusual with a rounded and mottled base, and a decidedly geometric spout and handle. Looking at it, I suppose it could be used as a wine server, or just as well for some freshly squeezed juice... but if it were mine to keep, I'd use it as a decorative piece and vase. Both pieces are in great condition.
