Anchor Hocking Casserole Dish
The Anchor Hocking company started manufacture of their "Fire King" range of glassware in the 1940s - the range was designed for regular oven-to-table use and the pieces were manufactured in a host of gorgeous designs, sizes and shapes to serve just about any taste or need! While relatively simple, the "Candle Glow" pattern (1967 - 1962.) is one of their loveliest and looks excellent set against the milk glass white of the dish. As with any vintage crockery, I'm delighted when pieces come intact and better yet, in excellent condition. Another plus for our casserole dish is the handy size - it's a good medium sized dish which is useful for a family night in or an evening of entertaining.
