Alfred Meakin "Green Paisley" Pitcher and Gravy Boat (Each)

This pair is like a breath of fresh air with that pretty green and gold finish, alongside the floral detail. Meakin Potteries need no introduction as one of the most well-known and loved British potters, and based on the style of the backstamp, the pair we have on sale today pre-date the 1950s - truly remarkable as both the larger pitcher and the gravy server are in great condition. There's some crazing visible on the gravy pitcher but it's water-tight, and the larger jug seems to have escaped all signs of age! They also make a beautiful match with the dishes and platters available online!
