1970's Standing Lamp

The vintage of our very fabulous standing lamp was verified by the previous owner - and clearly the lamp was very loved because it’s in mint condition. The base is really quite heavy and looks to be made from some kind of clay (using a mold) and some beautiful carved wood for the stem. In fact, the combination of the decorated clay base and wooden stem is really quite unusual, and the two mediums combined is both lovely and unique. The lamp came with the impressively oversized lamp-shade which carries some damage to the inside, but of course this isn’t visible and as we loved everything about this statement piece, we opted not to change a thing!
